Thing #12 NetLibrary and WorldCat My Comfort Zone

As a librarian I have been helping customers set up NetLibrary accounts. For those custmers who are computer savy it is very easy. At this point any staff member who has come this far in setting up numerous accounts will easily be able to help our customers set up a NetLibrary account for e-books.

Using WorldCat I found out that the Ocean County Library does not own a printed copy of "lost Horizon' but it does a DVD version of the that has been reformatted from the original released in 1937.

WorldCat will be useful for locating data for the ILL form for material not found on amazon. The one thing that WorldCat will not supply is the cost of the item.

Biographical cyclopedia of Ocean county, New Jersey by William H Fischer is owned by only four libraries in WorldCat. One copy is at the Tom's River Branch.

Like your blogger so far. I agree that thing 12 was the easiest challenge. Comfort zone was a good name.
